Are your travel feet itching for a road trip? It won’t be long until spring weather, which means lots of boomers will be hitting the road. Alan and I are planning a monster trip from Montana to the East coast and back to Montana. Our primary focus will be on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. But we’re sure to work in other stops along the way. Have any tips for us? Send them here.
February has been a strange weather month for most of the US. Whether you’re still knee high in snow or just sick of your current wacky weather, heading to the beach this time of year is always a great idea. If you’re looking for long stretches of beautiful beaches, Hawaii is always a good bet. Of course, if you get a bit tired after a day or two of just lounging about, you can always check out some great Water Adventures for Boomers.
This Week’s Articles
Our favorite Boomer on Bikes writer, Diane White, is back this week with a Harley adventure road trip to South Dakota’s Badlands.
Donna’s article, Seeing the Light in Antarctica, is going to make your travel feet itchy for a trip to the great white continent. And don’t miss Alan’s photos!

Want to try coloring this picture? Donna’s giving away two copies of Coloring the West, An Adult Coloring Book For Travelers at A Treasure Chest of Serendipity. So far, looks like your odds are real good. And coloring pencils are included, too!
February is Heart Month. At My Itchy Travel Feet, we believe that good health is the key to being able to travel. So we’re urging the boomer women in our audience to learn about the symptoms of a heart attack. They might not be what you think. And they are different from a man’s heart attack symptoms.
