This is the premier festival on the island of Nevis. Culturama is a 12-day celebration focusing on all aspects of Nevisian arts, culture, and activities leading up to the festival span the entire month of July.

The majority of the island residents are of African descent, and this festival celebrates a significant milestone of the island’s history – the emancipation of slaves in the 1830s.

Nevis was once known as the tiny sleepy sister island of St Kitts, however today it has become one of the most popular destinations for travelers seeking a more authentic Caribbean vibe.

Did you know Nevis was recently named by USA Today as one of the top (7) Caribbean island for Foodies, and one of the best islands in the Caribbean for nature lovers?
