This is the longest running sailing regatta in the Caribbean, and all of the
best international yachting community (from classic wooden sailboats to
50-100 foot mega yachts) show up for this annual event.
Attracting over 100 yachts yearly, Antigua Sailing Week consists of five days of competitive racing off the rugged south coast of Antigua plus an optional day of racing around the island. This flagship event with a history of over 50 years takes place in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Nelson’s Dockyard and surrounding areas.
Not a sailor? Not a problem!
What better way to get a first-hand experience of Antigua Sailing Week’s (ASW) races than to actually be out on the water alongside the racing yachts, and there are plenty of parties onshore every night adding to the Sailing Week excitement.
ASW offers the opportunity to Chase The Race during EVERY day of racing . . .
Dates are Sunday 29th April, Monday 30th April, Tuesday 1st May, Thursday 3rd May, Friday 4th May. This year, Chase the Race, sets off and returns to Falmouth Harbour so participants can be completely immersed in the activities of a typical race day. Without the stress of having to win!
